The second season of the first episode of the popular home renovation show “Renovate or Rebuild” kicked off with a visit to Stafford Heights, Brisbane. Homeowner Lisa, wanting to improve the efficiency and functionality of her mid-century Queenslander, is faced with a tough decision: renovate or rebuild?
The show’s designers, Jimmy (team rebuild) and Tam (team renovate), presented their plans, considering Lisa’s budget of $400,000 and her desire to retain the home’s character.
Ultimately, Lisa chose to renovate, opting to revitalise her existing home while incorporating modern features like ceiling fans for better airflow and a plunge pool. The renovation will also include an update to her beloved kitchen.
