About Solar for Business Program
The program aims to decrease energy bills for eligible businesses by covering up to 50% of the cost of installing an approved small-scale solar PV system with an inverter capacity of up to 30kW. The maximum rebate amount is $3,500, which helps reduce the upfront installation cost. Additionally, businesses have the option to apply for an interest-free loan.
It’s important to note that the total rebate amount is capped at either 50% of the cost or $3,500, depending on the approved system. The net costs, including GST and any contribution from Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs), determine the rebate value applied.
