GoodWe, a top inverter brand in Australia, is set to unveil its latest lightweight solar panel solution at the upcoming 2023 Smart Energy Conference and Exhibition. Dubbed the Galaxy Series, this new offering is part of a new product division of PV building materials that GoodWe has developed and manufactured in-house to complement its existing range of inverters.
The Galaxy Series is designed for commercial and low load-bearing rooftops that cannot accommodate traditional PV and racking, which is prone to water damage, corrosion, and leaks. Weighing in at just 6.1kg/m2 and measuring 1.6mm in thickness, the 335W solar panel can be easily and quickly installed using standard silicon-based adhesives and hot-air welding. It can be attached to various roofing materials, including single-ply, concrete, and corrugated metal roofing. It is TüV and IEC certified and comes with a 10-year functional warranty and a 30-year limited power warranty, providing an ultra-lightweight, weatherproof, and durable solution. Where an alternative fixing solution is required, an optional bracket can be used to affix the panels, removing the need for intrusive racking.

In addition to showcasing the Galaxy Series, GoodWe will also feature a range of residential and commercial energy storage solutions at the Smart Energy Exhibition.
